Hospitality and Social Enterprise Manager
Hours: 36 hours a week (to include some evening and weekend work)
Salary: Play to the Crowd Band D - £28,100 - £30,261 per annum
Reports to: Business and Operations Director
Direct Reports: Bar Team Leader, Bar Supervisors
Location: Theatre Royal Winchester, Winchester, Hampshire
Join us in a pivotal role as Hospitality and Social Enterprise Manager at Play to the Crowd.
You'll spearhead profitability for our subsidiary, Trade to the Crowd, overseeing venue bars, space hires, and community events. Embracing an entrepreneurial mindset, you'll drive income generation while upholding impeccable customer service standards. Working closely with the Business and Operations Director and Front of House Manager, you'll manage budgets, refine business strategies, and ensure safety and accessibility across our facilities and events.

Technical Manager
Hours: 36 hours a week
Salary: Basic Salary Scale £33,077 - £35,620 - any overtime payable at single time
Reports to: Business and Operations Director
Direct Reports: Full time, part time and casual technicians
Location: Theatre Royal Winchester, Winchester, Hampshire
For the first time in 22 years this opportunity is being advertised, following the retirement of our long standing Technical Manager recently.
This represents a rare chance to manage the back-stage operations of a lovely, intimate proscenium arch, heritage receiving house, with counterweight flying facilities and a first class reputation for the quality of its technical provision and welcome to incoming companies.

Theatre Technicians
Terms:
- 1 Theatre Technician on a full time permanent contract: 36 hours a week (Part-time and job share applications will be considered for the right candidate(s))
- 1 Theatre Technician on a part time permanent contract: 18 hours a week
Salary: Basic Salary £23,409 - £25,208 (with opportunities for overtime), pro rata for the part time role
Reports to: Technical Manager
Location: Theatre Royal Winchester, Winchester, Hampshire
The Theatre Technicians will work as part of a small resident technical team based at Theatre Royal Winchester providing excellent technical support for all the organisation’s events, both in the theatre and beyond.
The Theatre Technicians will provide hands-on support to visiting companies working on Get-Ins, Get-Outs and performances to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Housekeeper

Salary: £10.42 an hour

Based: Theatre Royal Winchester
We're looking for a Housekeeper to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness are applied to Theatre Royal Winchester at all times. In addition to early mornings, there may be afternoon and early evening cleaning opportunities.
