Legacy Action Week
This April, a group of local Winchester based charities are coming together to celebrate the difference a gift in a Will makes to the work they do in Legacy Action Week.
When?
Legacy Action Week will run from 7 - 13 April 2025.
Who?
The charities that make up Legacy Action Week are Play to the Crowd, Winchester Hospice, Trinity Winchester, Friends of the Family, St John’s Winchester, Winchester GoLD, Winchester Youth Counselling and Winchester and District Young Carers, as well as Steel & Partners funeral directors.
Join the 0.1% club
Play to the Crowd and the other charities involved are asking people to consider leaving a gift of just 0.1% of their estate to us in their Will.
What does 0.1% mean to you? Do you notice if your daily commute is 0.1% longer? Would it make a difference if your child wanted 0.1% of your dinner? What if you spent just 0.1% more time in the gym? Would you notice any of these things?
0.1% might not seem like much to many people, but to others, like local charities and those they support, 0.1% makes a huge difference
“As a keen supporter of many of these charities, leaving a gift in your Will is one of the most impactful things you can do. Each charity plays a vital role in the local community. Without legacies they are unable to thrive and secure their future provision of much needed services. Planning ahead can seem unsettling but think what just 0.1% can achieve and see how you can be remembered for good.”
