Play to the Crowd thanks supporters!

Last week we were privileged to be hosted by Inn the Park in order to thank some of our amazing supporters who secured the future of Play to the Crowd during our Survival Appeal last year.

Deryck Newland, Chief Executive of Play to the Crowd, spoke about the impact of donations and what we have planned for the coming year, namely our quest to find a home for Playmakers in the city where we can host our community and participation work.

Andrew Loretto, Hat Fair and Playmakers Director, spoke of the impact of the pandemic on the charity’s Outdoor Arts festival, and outreach work, and where both strands of the organisation will be heading in the future.

Afterwards, invited guests joined some of the Play to the Crowd team for a wander around Winchester Cathedral's Christmas Market, which included a surprise pop-up performance from Hat Fair, Worldbeater’s Spark! (pictured below).

We look forward to working together with all our supporters: continuing to PLAY and create opportunities to bring live performance to all.

Thank you, one and all for your support, we wouldn't be here without you.
