Young Producers

Ages 15-25 years

Fulfil your passion for the arts

Join Playmakers Young Producers and work as a team to create:

  • plays
  • festivals
  • installations
  • films
  • gigs

You don't have to be a performer or maker; if you enjoy the arts and want to see more events for young people in Winchester, we need you.

Playmakers are establishing a group to work as a creative team, supported by professional mentors.

Schools & HE

Playmakers provide a selection of great learning opportunities for schools.

In-school workshops, theatre visits, tours and careers support are available for both students and school employees.

Here's a few examples of things Playmakers can do:

  • Arts week workshop or project planning and delivery
  • INSET workshops
  • Curriculum specific workshops 
  • Devising work support
  • Outdoor Arts
  • Hat Fair Carnival
  • Youth Theatre at your school

Education Forum

An opportunity to discuss how we can support your school's activities, and to meet your fellow peers. 

Open to anyone teaching in formal education in Hampshire, from Early Years to HE level.

NCT Bumps and Babies

Run by Winchester NCT, this friendly group of new and expectant parents meet on Mondays, from 10.30am to 12.30pm in Theatre Royal Winchester's Cafe Bar.

There's plenty of space for babies to crawl around, with books and toys available for older ones.

Cost: £1.50 per session with free refreshments provided.
